Plan your TVs before you furnish
Height
Centre of the TV around 100 to 110cm off the floor for a sofa. Higher over a fireplace, and tilt helps there.
Sockets
Check where the TV point and sockets are before you buy the unit. A socket behind the TV makes hidden cables much neater.
Before the walls are painted
If you're getting an electrician in, ask for a socket and HDMI point behind where the TV will go. Send us the photo first and we'll mark the spot.
