What the houses are made of, and why it matters
Meath's commuter towns have both kinds of house. The big new estates (Churchfields and Milltown in Ashbourne, Steeplechase in Ratoath, Hansfield and Ongar on the Clonee side) are plasterboard, so hiding cables is easy. The bungalows and older estates round Navan and Dunboyne are mostly block, where painted conduit is the usual finish and chimney breasts are solid enough for the biggest TVs.

Painted conduit at €39 is the usual answer and looks fine. Fully hidden means chasing a channel and replastering, which we quote from a photo of the run.
