Which TV bracket do I need?
Three kinds of bracket cover nearly every TV and wall. Here's which to pick, what each costs fitted, and when your own bracket is fine.
01By situation
Pick by where the TV is going
- Living room, sofa straight in front
- Fixed slim. Flat to the wall, cheapest, and you'll never need to angle it. €39 up to 50 inch, €49 above.
- Above a fireplace
- Tilt. The TV sits higher than ideal over a mantel, so tilting it down makes a real difference. €55.
- Corner, or watched from the kitchen too
- Full motion. Swings out and turns to face wherever you're sitting. €99 up to 55 inch, €149 heavy duty above that.
- Bedroom
- Fixed slim, mounted a bit higher than a living room so you can see it lying down. Or tilt if the bed is low.
- You already have a bracket
- Fine, we fit it for nothing extra, as long as it's rated for the TV's weight and the VESA pattern matches. Send a photo of it with the TV model.
